What is a HealthCare Navigator?

Spending time with our older loved ones is very special and doesn’t last forever. Sooner or later, we have to help them with their health needs. Healthcare is complicated and challenging. As a healthcare navigator, I help families deal with long-term health needs, up and including end-of-life care. I provide:

• Kind & Compassionate Support: My work experience and learning provides reassuring help that guides you through complicated medical and insurance choices.

• Help for Caregivers: I give practical advice and a safe place to talk about worries and fears without judgment, helping caregivers avoid feeling overwhelmed. This means taking care of their body and mind while supporting you with things like doctor visits or medical decisions. My goal is to help them live their best quality of life and help caregivers make informed decisions.

Taking care of a loved one is emotionally hard, especially when making tough decisions or dealing with significant life changes. I have over 25 years of experience as an RN and several years as a nurse consultant, helping individuals, older adults, and families understand and manage the challenges of healthcare
